"No sex" and "no sex with the wife" sound like two completely unrelated problems to me...

SM you're a god among men.

I know she's feeling crappy, but nothing distracts like a lovingly applied finger. And once she's distracted, you're forgiven if you slip something in.

You're stronger than me, SM. Twice, I failed on day 19.

Just kidding. You should never cheat on your wife.

What you should do is make her a nice relaxing roofie colada before bed one night...

Oh I know you're just kidding. Call me old fashioned, but I still believe in being faithful to your spouse. :-D

And trust me, I've been very blunt with her about my attraction. I think she would be worried if a day went by and I didn't grab her ass/boobs, nibble on her ear, try to give her monkey bites, etc.

I've been unknowingly practicing the Ham Challenge for about 3 months myself.

My wife likes it. A LOT.

On a more serious note, do y'all think Young Pyromancer from M14 is going to be a key piece in RDW after rotation?
I doubt it. I mean, it's really good, but we're using like 4-8 burn spells max in our current lists so - unless lists swing back to being very burn heavy - I don't think it'll see a lot of play in Standard RDW.

Now a combo or burn deck - maybe.

Anywho, for the month between when m14 is legal and m13 and Inn rotates, Dos Rakis is going to get retarded in here:

[deck]Hypothetical Decklist[/deck]

18 creatures with Haste - 10 with Flying too.

Rawr!
Assuming Chandra the Playable is actually playable that's pretty hot. Otherwise, I'm not sure you have enough instants/sorceries to warrant running Phoenix over Reckoner.

Yeah, that's assuming Chandra is good and has a direct damage ability.

Otherwise, you could always just play Brimstone in those slots.

I would hope WotC wouldn't reprint [card]Chandra's Phoenix[/card] unless they fully intended to give Chandra a direct damage ability.

If Shrine of Burning Rage was in standard right now, we'd be unstoppable.

Mutavault is much better than the keyrunes, and it only takes up a land slot. Boner status.

You can always get it back with Gideon...

Think the reprint will make Mutavault continue to go down in price, or will its inclusion in Standard make it go up even more? My thoughts are that the original printing will hold its value, especially if they give it new art, but there's still a chance that the M13 one will break $20.

I meant mostly due to the fact that Chandra has been getting the hose consistently.

Reprints always drop the price of the new one relative to the old one. Some people like the old art/extension symbol, so they're usually worth more, but they drop in price.

Check the shock lands for example.

Has the red walker clause always been there? I always thought it was just instants/sorceries. Then again, red walkers usually blow...

RDW will almost always be powerful; the question really is whether or not the other colors will allow it to be successful.

That was my basis for the speculation, but that was my only basis. Many of you have been playing for longer than I have, and know these things better. M14 won't be opened as much as RTR, so that will also probably have some effect on the price. I think the question is if I spend my money on Mutavault before or after M14 hits. It's already dropped in price due to the announcement, and I'm wondering if the reality will change it even more so. By contrast, Ratchet Bomb rose 300% when it was spoiled for M14.

Nope.

Nobody's making those girls do anything they don't want to do a statistically significant amount of the time and a relevant number of them are legally old enough to make those kinds of decisions.

My conscience is clear.

True, I should have been more clear. Cards that are already in demand (shock lands, goyf, eternal staples) will drop with a reprint.

Cards with a depressed price because of no eternal play or recent rotation (scars block) will go up because people want to get the cards without cracking m14 boosters.

Yup. A good rule-of-thumb is that if it's already seeing play somewhere, a reprint will bring the price down; if it's not seeing play anywhere (but is a solid Standard playable card) a reprint will bring the price up.

Quick summary: M14 Mutavault will be a few bucks cheaper than Morningtide Mutavault. If you play often, get them now and win more in the first few days of new standard to offset the premium.

Or, if you're a rebel, ignore Mutavault completely and continue to win.

(Or like me, continue to try to make Boros Battallion work)
