I imagine League is fantastic with a group you team with regularly. But random queue just kinda makes me want to disembowel the whole of humanity.

RE RDW vs. Ghost Pants: You just have to race them. Have skullcracks and electrickery in your board and try to mull to hands that have either of those cards or that can goldfish a turn 4/5 win. It's not like you can interact with them.

Hey redbros. Haven't been posting as much lately since I've been busy with work, going to the gym, and practicing for upcoming events. There's a modern tourney coming up with a box of MMA as the first prize and I'm playing RUG scapeshift (the one with titans not cryptic command and snappy). Its a blast to play and seems positioned decently in the meta (I'd play Rb burn but the local meta is kinda hostile to it right now, with D&T, Wb soul sisters, and other random rogue decks that hate on burn).

I'm not sure how to board for scapeshift yet though, and there aren't any good resources for the prime time version. Everyone at mtgsally swears by the blue version (which is part of the reason I avoided it.

I vote no for elecktrickery. They can play around it after they put an IS down, and they'll just go "oh ok then here's this geist I'lls uit up later since you passed with 2 open mana up hurr?" You really need to be building up your board and swinging in in early turns, if you dick around with elecktrickery they are drawing more through their synergistic
deck.

I have beenn takign a break but with the meta shifts I am not sure what deck to run. Mono-red is fun since with the mana base everyone else runs you get to take advantage of stumbles. But I am eyeing Dos Rakis as well since Aristrocrat and Chandra's Phoenix is fun. Any thoughts?

Right now I like Dos Rakis, but I haven't really been playing a whole lot lately so take that for what it's worth.

Post rotation - depending on what Theros looks like, of course - I'm leaning towards Mono R.
