I’m Tom Dubois and I’m the Town Backup. During Twilight I can PM Dan the name of a dead town player and gain their abilities for the rest of the game. Yesterday during Twilight I chose Colonel Khaddafi due to his spiffy JOAT abilities. I was torn between vigging Kazekirimaru and HowlingMad but eventually went with HM due to his WIFOM comments yesterday and Mander’s play on Day 1. Loaded questions like the following put her on my scumdar:

Then we get HowlingMad as a replacement, who flew very low under the radar yesterday but popped back up with posts 928-930. I targeted HowlingMad with the vig shot and Dan sent me a PM confirming that my ability went
through but HowlingMad was not able to be targeted.

This means HM is some sort of untargetable role, very likely a godfather.

I instantly claimed because I was certain I'd caught the GF until I went back and reread the flips (I thought Kaze was just daytalk enabler at first). Keep in mind I do have Khaddafi's "reporter" ability so I can always post a message at the beginning of the day to confirm my backup ability.

Nuwen's lying. Her reasons for finding me scum have been shifting over the course of a few hours (just read from the beginning of today). I'm the town backup and I can prove my ability. The fact she didn't come forward immediately with her "guilty" result on me shows that her claim isn't genuine.

No seriously. Fate breadcrumbs Cop, suggests Nuwen is town. Nuwen comes forward as Cop with scum result on Spam and town result on LMD (after LMD claims to see me target Fate). Fate was obviously bullshitting (probably to claim to try to draw a Nightkill) and counting on no one to remember his breadcrumb. LMD creates a dichotomy between him and myself by claiming to see me target Fate when I have no Night actions, Nuwen backs it up with a false Cop gambit so that I'm almost certainly the lynch to prevent a scum quicklynch (by removing the use of my Governing ability, forcing me to use it on myself) and then says "derf well I guess we'll lynch Iso on
Day 4, MEANFUCKINGWHILE, there is no longer a Doctor alive, so Nuwen is attempting to draw out the real Cop by claiming, creating yet ANOTHER dichotomy, and getting the other claimer lynched after my Governor shot is used up t-FSDJFSFSFLJ SCUM GAMBIT :crazy::crazy: The scum only need to push a mislynch through with the unaccounted extra kill floating around and the unresolved dichotomies come the next Day to win!
