Alex, people like that happen. Nerdy people who hide their nerdiness in a closet, and try to reach out for someone nerdy but who at least looks normal and you could hang out with him. I wouldn't expect it to be a trap or serial killer/MTGS mod. Still, I wouldn't expect it much of an action there as well.

On a serious note I am assuming the game plan is to stall and control while building up devotion to swing with Thassa or spawn a bunch of tokens with Master of Waves?

Yeah, it's not an aggro deck. It's a UB midrange deck I suppose?

I think all the creatures are well positioned now, as are the spells. It IS a lot of taplands, so your mono R matchup is probably not great (except for Master). Still, even there all your creatures line up well, and UW Control and Green midrange will be very easy matchups.
