because he was "in a hurry." this doesn't make sense but it's not worth a vote. witchhunt got my vote after i read his posts and felt that he had played mafia before (apparently i was wrong) based on his discussion of RVS etc without first asking what that was (like most other new players i've played with so far), but still made a false dichotomy in one of his posts and was defensive in another. i believe his claim tho and will not be lynching him today.

I've only ever watched people play bioshock so I don't know the
story well but I do know that the first one revolves around little girls being led around/protected by giant robots called big daddy's. I assume that's what is being referenced

In order to get a lynch, someone has to have voted third and if scum don't vote third then the person that voted third is town. Obviously scum know this so they will naturally want to vote into the third position because they know only town vote third because that is a scummy vote. But town knows that scum want to appear as towny as possible so they will assume the person that's third is scum. Knowing this, the scum would never vote in the third position and naturally the third person on the wagon would be town. But if the person in the third position is always town than the scum will want to vote there because no scum would ever vote there.

I'm so sad so few people have played Bioshock. It really breaks my heart. ADAM is what brought about splicing, long story short and the Gardens were vending machines of sorts that you could use to become spliced. Not sure how we would be able to make the post relevant to the game unless we were actually playing in character, I do love the nod to it though.

It took me a second to finally get what was going on in the whole WIFOM bit there, I honestly had never seen Princess Bride so I had to think about what I had just watched haha.

That being said, I've been getting subtle vibes from imopen2 for a while now, the "Third vote, Kaze is scum" bit, his posts since then trying to explain why it's so important, I'm not really buying it. Since I'm leaning scum for imopen, I'm willing to trust Rezombad as Town for now and see where this goes.

scummy vibes from Suga. With him trying to draw more attention to Kaze, who I'm feeling is town, I definitely want to keep him on my radar. It could be the lack of posts, but his posts are just kind of rubbing me the wrong way.

I don't think CM and Kaze should be targeting each other at this point, after rereading a lot of the thread repeatedly I'm getting a fairly solid feel of Town from both of them. Take my suggestion with a grain of salt though, but I think we should focus on one of the earlier scum guesses you both had, that being imopen2.

As moderators/admins of DtR, myself, kaze, CM, scumbag, G_R (am I missing anyone else?) can all see the people viewing this thread in "invisible" mode. When you are in invisible mode you are invisible to regular users but you show up in italics to moderators. I really think it's a null tell since I often open mafia games on my phone and then do other things. I just don't even bother going invis

fact that it was a third vote isn't really the problem, it's that it was a third vote WITH NO REASONING. If I start saying "choo choo" and voting for people without explanation, please lynch me.

Here's the situation:

1. A wagon builds on witchhunter.
2. Kaze throws his vote on with no reasoning.
3. Witchhunter claims and I am satisfied about his claim, wagon over.
4. I decide that with 11 possible voters, there is very likely at least 1 scum on witch's wagon.
5. I look at all 4 of the other votes and while yanni's vote is boarderline, and I almost voted him for it, Kaze's is literally the scummiest post so far in this thread.
6. I vote kaze.
