Sitting here at work in my ergonomic chair, with my adjustable keyboard tray, new wireless keyboard/mouse bundle, headphones on listening to Deadmau5, and drinking hot lemon ginger tea. I have no right to be this comfortable at work. Then I browse these forums and I'm instantly uncomfortable. Well done red bros.

SM, you complete me.

On a completely different note, so far the last book of The Wheel of Time is pretty fucking epic.

It's nice that stuff is actually happening. Like, I'm 1/2 way through the book and the story has progressed further than in the last 8-ish books combined.
I remember one that almost killed my love of reading - Crossroads of Twilight, I think - which would have been more accurately named "Matt Rides in a Wagon".

Where? It snowed here on Tuesday, and has just gotten colder since. It's over 90 degrees on a November. People are swimming and out in flip flops, shorts, and tanktops. It's an odd site when you see it in combination with the Christmas decoration that is out.

You uys should really read the rest of Brandon Sanderson's work if you haven't already.Yeah it's the best in the series since like book 4 or so.On a completely different note, so far the last book of The Wheel of Time is pretty fucking epic.

According to the Terraria Wiki, an artificial Corruption can be created by planting corrupt plant seeds in dirt. What corruption can a plant bring?
Your answer will tell me much about you
This will apparently spawn monsters.
There you go.

Didn't he do the Mistborn stuff? Because that was pretty good, but not "fucking genius" level or anything. You uys should really read the rest of Brandon Sanderson's work if you haven't already.Yeah it's the best in the series since like book 4 or so.On a completely different note, so far the last book of The Wheel of Time is pretty fucking epic.

I live outside of LA. It's suppose to drop down to the mid 60s tomorrow, so everything should be back to normal.Where? Personally I would love to have a heat wave on Christmas. December is the only month that's never had one here and I'd like to know how Zem feels with Australia's upside down and very wrong
weather.

I'm envious. Wish I could rock Sabbath all day at work.I let it listen to Sabbath while I'm at work all day.
Dio or Ozzy era? Love Ozzy, but I'm on a huge Dio kick at the moment.

In a pinch, Khaos' beard can help turn this around.
I rarely skip a Khaospawn wall of text because I know there is always piss at the end of the rainbow.

Yeah, he did. I honestly loved the mistborn stuff. But I think what helps catapult him to that level is The Way of Kings (book one of the stormlight archives). It's really really good.Didn't he do the Mistborn stuff? Because that was pretty good, but not "fucking genius" level or anything. You uys should really read the rest of Brandon Sanderson's work if you haven't already.

Also the fact that all of his fantasy books (elantris, mistborn, stormlight archives, warbreaker) take place in teh same universe, but on
difference worlds. And it's semi hidden.

I, for one, would like to welcome our new firebreathing narwhal overlords.

Most days I just leave it to Spotify to pick for me but if I had to pick for myself I'd pick Ozzy, easy. Dio's a great singer, and he did fine with Sabbath, but the kind of medieval fantasy stuff we wrote for Blackmore's Rainbow was really where his niche was at. For Sabbath's black, just plain evil lyrical content Ozzy is the man to write it.

Just read the last three.
So little happens before Sanderson takes over that you're not missing much by skipping a few books.

The Mistborn Trilogy was fun, though a bit young-adult-ish. Not that Robert Jordan is advanced literature or anything. You uys should really read the rest of Brandon Sanderson's work if you haven't already.Yeah it's the best in the series since like book 4 or so.On a completely different note, so far the last book of The Wheel of Time is pretty fucking epic.

I'm currently in the middle of Steven Erickson's Malazan Tales of the Fallen series. If you cry when George RR Martin kills off his characters, you'll start cutting yourself reading Erickson.

Christmas for me usually entails going to Aunts house and dealing with the Awkwardness that is her and her husbands marriage. Or worse, his family(they're not bad people, but they ain't my family and I ain't tryna spend christmas with a bunch of strangers).
Thanksgiving is the only family Holiday that I care about during the year.
