Bouncing between Big Boros and UW control, I somehow landed on Ben Starks Orzhov Aggro deck...

I hate magic sometimes.

Play UW.

Also, thoughts on trying out a Trading Post over a Quicken in Huey's list?
If you don't know how to lie, then how do you know if you're being lied to?

The answer? Use a gun. And if that don't work... use more gun.

A singleton is ok. More than that throws your curve way out. Have you actually played with the list? Quicken does a lot of work.

Quicken verdict is all sorts of broken. Combined with divination, you also build the worst harmonize.

I'm leaning orzhov over UW because the latter is more likely to "just lose".

I also really like the Orzhov sideboard. I need to play thoughtseize at least once in a big tourney this year. Plus, renounce the guilds means you have an answer to blood baron.

Wb is doing quite well on MODO right now (two 4-0 finishes, its worst MU is just UW and Esper - so its fine pick if you enjoy that heavy aggro approach).

I enjoy a wide range of deck types and this qualifies. The hardest thing is knowing how to sideboard since I've never seriously played a white weenie deck before, but I'm figuring it out. Really, the thing I'm least sure on is when to take out brave the elements. I'm probably boarding it out too much, but my win-rate still been acceptable so I guess I'm doing fine. I like playing things by ear so it's not even really a big deal.

I WOULD be interested in how different the modo-lists are from the GP deck, though I doubt they've evolved that fast. So far, all I've done is cut the orzhov charm and a doom blade from the board for 2 renounce the guilds(my mizzium mortars) and that was a GREAT idea.

Midrange deck?
Brave the Elements for
t3h Alpha!
Anger of the Gods, Mizzium Mortars?
Brave the Elements for t3h Survivez0r!
Walter White?
Just draw 4x Soldier of the Pantheon while your opponent draws all his Cacklers (happened to me twice, sadly I was on the other side of the table) - but, since they try to control the board with red instants, Brave the Elements does the trick. Imposing Sovereign then wins the game for you.

A newt? :confused2:
Maybe he was confused with Newtered?

I guess H2O is the best place for my "Gunning for Tactical/Practical Reviews". Maybe it will bring more people to DTR and hang around more. To many on MTGS that hate guns and tactical equipment for any knowledge to be given without politics being thrown at me. I will whip up something and poste it the H2O area. It will have 2-3 reviews of tactical and practical with a gun review (not all the time) once a month.
I don't have much to contribute in magic besides my current plays or thoughts on cards tested. Wooooo...big deal. I net deck
most of the time cause I can't find anything else or time is constrained. I also like to win. The only real deck brewing I do is commander with extras I have and sealed.

Jokes huh.

How to elderly kiss once they are chair or bed ridden?
-They exhange dentures.

What do you call a cannibal that ate his mother in law?
-Gladiator (say it slowly)

How does an aggie (texas A&M) park in the handicap parking?
-Puts his or her diploma in the windshield.
