Browsing on Netflix and I think I just hit paydirt.

ZOMBIE HUNTER.

The cover is Danny Trejo dressed as a priest and holding a shovel.

Description: When a street drug turns junkies into an army of zombies, Hunter finds himself with nothing but a beat-up car and a trunk full of guns and booze.

This has potential for maximum awesomeness.

I read that as "bears and strip clubs" and was like: :eyebrow:

But bars are fine too I guess
I read that as "bear strip clubs" (missing the "and")and I came up with three very different mental images.
1) a gay stripclub with burly and hairy dancers.
2) a soviet inversion type of joke "in bear strip club dancers muder you", because let's face it a bar filled with angry bears (of the ursine variety) is a recipe for an awesome bloodbath, and if you put the CCTV video on the internet it would crash the sight hosting it.
3) some form of cudgel designed to flense bears with each strike.

All of
these thoughts are fun in their own right.

Speaking of Modern, my home brew Mono Red did amazingly well until I ran into Soul Sisters, a "deck" which has not reared its ugly head at Serenity Games in nearly a year. Fuck that guy and fuck that Auriok Firewalker thing.
hahahahaHAHAHA

<3
My next endeavour will feature Phyrexian Crusader.

Go ahead, gain all the life you want.
I'd like to see you accumulate 10 poison counters before you get taken by a Martyr of Sands -> Serra Ascendant.

I've ran Arena just to answer that card, though.

Were we arguing, Kaze? I didn't think that we needed to argue that Soul Sisters is a terrible deck. I thought everyone knew that. It has like, one good match up.

It's a great beginner's deck for their first foray into Modern.

Is it remotely close to Tier 1? Nope.

But it is pretty ridiculous and funny to humiliate people with.

It's very good against Red Aggro and against players that don't play enough removal.

So basically you just beat noobs and hardcore Red players.

I've played a lot of Modern decks, and none have won as consistently as Soul Sisters.

I rarely admit it, but my first love in MTG was playing White Weenie. But my love of Lightning Bolt would prove stronger....

I have had no issues beating soulsisters senseless with infect, how to beat it with burn is more elusive, since even 4 skullcrack and 4 flames of the blood hand is not enough.

Ask your opponent what time it is, then punch them in the throat when they check their phone. That's how you beat Soul Sisters.

You don't play Skullcrack and Flames against Soul Sisters. Its all about which threats you need to target and kill. They're going to gain life, regardless. You just need to stymie their offense and develop a board presence that can punch through with enough damage.

To add to this, you gotta understand that every deck has a bad match-up and in those games you are not favored to win. Burn, Goblins, and RDW fold really easy to Soul Sisters and you just have to accept it.

Seriously, I'm okay knowing that the one deck that can really hurt me has to maindeck things like Auriok Fuckstick. In the course of a tournament or season, how often do I encounter that? Rarely.

Just got paid today for washing a DC-10. Holy shit that is a big plane. Reason for mentioning, got paid in 3 $100 bills. They were the new ones. Have any of you seen the new US $100? It looks fake as shit! I am behind on my counterfit money classes and the $100 looks like Europian money...but green.

I have gotten counterfit money from Wal-mart ($20 and $50) before, saw it right off, and asked for a different bill(s). These $100 are way to complicated to now tell the fakes from real ones. :no2:

I read a thesis once on simply stopping the government mints and turning money production over completely to counterfeiters; the idea was that while those people would, of
course, become intensely rich, the trickle down would even itself out enough over the years and the government would save millions each years from not having to care about what its populace was spending.
A decade later and we have bitcoins.

I don't think some of you understand what goes into making a bill. The amount of anti forgery tools used in a bill are becoming hard to follow. The pen test, Watermark, serial # check (no one excpet banks can do this), the tiny strip stateing bill denomination and origin, the new progressive font color changes, new holographic strip, small broken 100's on the back, the quill, the bell inside the ink jar, and the burn test. To much for keeping up with to check for fakes. Feds have tons of money, but citizens have limited budget for counter forgery.

Person to person exchange of forgery notes are not noticed, but trying to put in the bank...the bank destroys the notes or NSA confiscates them. That is where the citizen is hurt.

Would not work. Have you ever seen folks in OLD movies bite coins? It was done to check and see if they were fakes (lead, soft metals). They were scared back then of fake money. Although back then, they used real gold, silver, and copper. Do any of you remember the 1980's mexico pesso failure? It was like 3,500 pesso to the US dollar. You need a suitcase of money to buy loaf of bread in mexico. Havig money printed in mas forgery would cause it to become toilet paper. We work for rare/scarce resources: money, gold, silver, precious metals, or guns (needed for purpose of change of power or
defense of power, rare need). If a scarce resource is no wide spread; it is useless or not as valued.
Regardless, I hope you were looking at that piece for laughter and not insight?
