Indeed! There are so many uninteractive Modern combos that I've been packing Slaughter Games in my sideboard to some good success.

I would say Grinding Stone + Painter Servant is gay to, but I ran that deck for while in my games of vintage. Stop playing when the players pool dissapeared.

Just got paid today for washing a DC-10. Holy shit that is a big plane. Reason for mentioning, got paid in 3 $100 bills. They were the new ones. Have any of you seen the new US $100? It looks fake as shit! I am behind on my counterfit money classes and the $100 looks like Europian money...but green.

I have gotten counterfit money from Wal-mart ($20 and $50) before, saw it right off, and asked for a different bill(s). These $100 are way to
complicated to now tell the fakes from real ones.

I read a thesis once on simply stopping the government mints and turning money production over completely to counterfeiters; the idea was that while those people would, of course, become intensely rich, the trickle down would even itself out enough over the years and the government would save millions each years from not having to care about what its populace was spending.
A decade later and we have bitcoins.

Would not work. Have you ever seen folks in OLD movies bite coins? It was done to check and see if they were fakes (lead, soft metals). They were scared back then of fake money. Although back then, they used real gold, silver, and copper. Do any of you remember the 1980's mexico pesso failure? It was like 3,500 pesso to the US dollar. You need a suitcase of money to buy loaf of bread in mexico. Havig money printed in mas
forgery would cause it to become toilet paper. We work for rare/scarce resources: money, gold, silver, precious metals, or guns (needed for purpose of change of power or defense of power, rare need). If a scarce resource is no wide spread; it is useless or not as valued.

You're waaaaaaaaaaaaay closer than I am to finishing the deck. I need three Remand, two Cryptic Command, 4 Scalding Tarn, 4 Misty Rainforest, 4 Splinter Twin...

Yeah, it's going to be awhile LOL. I'll just get by with Sulfur Falls for my manabase to start out, so dropping ~$120 on the rest to at least be able to pilot the deck at FNM. I'm trying to sell my playset of Goryo's Vengeance for $40 to offset some of the cost, and if I'm able to sell my Warhammer 40K army I'll have enough to buy the rest.

Of course, I made the mistake of looking at my 40k army last night and got the feels. Damn it! But I have no time for more than 2-3 hobbies anymore, so I might as well put all my eggs in a couple of baskets.

That's the beautiful thing about Tempo Twin: it's a midrange deck masquerading as a combo deck. Your opponent concerns himself so much with losing to Twin that he
ends up dying to an army of Snapcasters and Pestermites!

game 3, i manage to rip a dreadbore to kill his demon and free my cackler pyromancer and pheonix, and go to attack phase and swing. He activates mutavault to block pyromancer. I declare "Before blocks, lightning strike your mutavault. He then thinks for a bit, bins his mutavault and then quits the game, but not before leaving me this gem:

I'm gay and wouldn't touch soul sisters with a 11ft pole. In fact I am playing (or planning on playing once I have the cards) mono red in every format but EDH (having too much fun with nekusar in multiplay and ezuri 1v1).

Yeah, You have an uphill battle. 40k army hobby...
please...try tatical gun and gear collecting. New shit keeps coming out that is EXSPENSIVE and to good to not use. The only thing worse in my opion is classic cars. Seen that hobby in action, and wow, money just blows out the window in buckets.

I knew Misty Rainforest (and the GB one) was going to be a big hit cause of Tarmogoyf + Counter spells, and bought all of them except Scalding Tarns. I never used Blue + Red decks except Painters Servant + Grindstone and that was before Scalding Tarns came out. I got all the rest for cheap on rotation (RW and BW) for around $9 a piece.

I play Jund and SplinterTwin was easily defeated by my deck. I don't know how people keep losing?
Killing their combo is easy when I run tons of discard and kill. It's shit like Eggs, Mindslaver, Karn, Maze's End (standard only), and sometimes Scapeshift that piss me off. I have only played against Soul Sistes once and the
dude that was playing was high, thus I find my expieriance against it was not adaquite for a good call of annoyance (beat it 2-0).

If Sulfuric Vortex was reprinted for modern; Soul Sister would not be an issue. Did I just make the Red Mages Horny?
