The Errant Ephemeron is the best in the absract; the problem is that they can 2-for-1 themselves to block it down; you're then back in the board stall. Sure, you're up on CA, but it doesn't matter when each player draws most of his deck. The issue is the neither side can effectively fight through a 2/4 body; even if I ran bonesplitter, you still run into the issue of them 2-for-1 themeselves and stabalze; since the only thing you need to stop are Spire Golems. The mill enchant is decent, but I only have 1 sideboard slot to dedicate, so it goes too much against my primary winconditon (damage), that if I don't draw it early, its kinda pointless.

Alex came up with the brilliant idea of a 2/2 unblockable, and oddly enough, it does everything you need it to. I can already win the games that go long (like, 90% of them anyway) through Repeal + Arrows loop; but those games take forever; having a
1-of that will win the game 5+ turns faster would save me a lot of issues with the clock (I posted a pic before of winning with 0 seconds on the clock!).

I love watching the magic show when he has some one on to poop on his dreams. I like Evan and all, but it's just funny to see his hopes crushed.

You do need to try to gay it up a little more.

You're like the least gay member of this clan.

And that's counting the fact that you voluntarily have sex with men.

I like that my issue with the deck is only "doesn't win fast enough in the mirror".

I am really hoping that the metagame shifts heavily toward your control decks, mostly because it scares out my bad match ups, that being said since I play paper pretty much exclusively it becomes unlikely that modo trends will filter down into the events I am playing in, and I am not particularly interested in electrons.

Wouldn't that just turn on all opposing Quick Sands? if your using 4cc to repeal him, they're most likely to win that counter war.

The current ninja list only runs Islands; but that's hardly worth including a card on. Uggggh. Maybe Steel Sabotage?

Bounces or counters their Golem.
Picks up my arrows.
Nice to have vs. Affinity.

Times have changed, back when Stompy was big - Delver ran 2x Quicksand. In that case the 2/2 rogue is just fine, though when you play in the PE you'll face real MUC mirrors the sands will wreck him.

Dispel is surely better then Steel Sabotage for that MU no? Though vs Ninja Fae maybe not...

That'd work as far as taking out any Sisters or Hawks on the board, yeah. But you still need to deal with Ajani's Pridemates somehow. There are no answers to Soul Sisters you're being foolish

Who has tinnitus?

I was actually sitting in a lecture on a tinnitus study at work last week. Looks like they're trying some new therapy techniques in the study that have been pretty effective.

I see your 0:00 clock win and raise you a 1 card in library, two 1/1 Delvers on board, must flip to win victory.

I'd love to be condescending towards you two, but I played Draw-Go through two Standard seasons: Mirage-Tempest to Tempest-Urza's. Then I played it in Extended (which was a legitimate format back then).

30 Counterspells. Felt real good.

I'm getting symptoms of it — the high-pitched ringing in the ears — when I wake up at night. It' smacking it damned difficult to sleep. I suspect it has to do with wax buildup in the inner ear, which I've had a problem with.

What's funny is the amount of people that start saying, "Well he's a Christian, so I feel like I have to support his statement."

Bunch of sheep. I imagine that the late 1930's Germans said something similar about Hitler.

I feel like the hitler part of that argument is fallacy. (not that I don't agree with the bulk of your point) I can't quite remember the name of it though.

EDIT: Yep, Reductio ad Hitlerum.
