Maverick is good people.

Been occupied by: career hopping, robotics course + linear algebra course, filling in other massive education gaps (I dropped out of a humanities major in 2009, for dolla dolla hustle), painting. Pooping out web templates for chiropractors' offices isn't where I want to be in a year, and I also don't fancy returning to the sysadmin trenches. Working on a rebrand for my micro-business, which has been on the decline for awhile.

(no disrespect to sysadmins everywhere - it's just not for me. Too much of the wrong kinds of stress for me to be happy)

Turning 24 and still a full-sized child, dreams of gutting the electoral system, existential crisis, can't sell my art, etc.

What's up with everyone else?
So high, so low, so many things to know.

Ever been to a party where there's this one guy that's constantly bitching about how lame the party is and how he hates everyone there and how many better things he could be doing but, you know, still never leaves?

And you wonder "who invited this guy anyway" and it turns out no one did?

If FoS were a party, Madding would be that guy.
Well, it doesn't help that we're kinda having the party in that guy's house. :scared:

He's a rugged individualist who lets the quality of his work speak for him. He's a true hero, a Randian archetype if there ever was. Who is Kait Galt?

Mana isn't that bad actually, it probably needs one or two more islands but it plays fine.

Was just playtesting against Esper, deck doesn't care about Sphinx's Revelation. Negate gets it a lot.

I am not saying you lose to Revelation, I am saying you want to play it in control, otherwise you're just being different for the sake of it

Also your walker package is too random, you need serious consistency to beat the Thoughtseize menace

Ashiok was pretty bad in my small experience with the list thus far, but I was playing against Esper so that's not surprising. We're going to screw around with it against RG monsters tonight when I get out of work, and maybe one of the two devotion decks if I can convince him to play them.

Sphinx's Revelation is fine and dandy, but Opportunity is not awful either. Red seemed like the red headed step child in the deck, but even if I were going to cut red completely, I still wouldn't go UWR and play Rev when I could just play Opportunity and Mutavaults.

Dissolve being UU was something that worried me, and I didn't need to counter creatures as badly as I needed to counter noncreature spells. The deck has plenty of removal.

I jammed Rifts in last second for Pack Rats/Master of Babes tokens, but it could easily be any other spell.

UW is so boring though. :(

If I had another set of Hallowed Fountains I would probably cave and do it, but right now my room mate is playing esper and using them.

there's nothing boring about taking 70 turns and cycling your deck 3 times to eventually kill your opponent with 1/1 tokens

I get the feeling that BUG is better. You get to play Kiora, Abrupt Decay, Putrefy, and Vraska. That seems worlds better than Dreadbore, Chandra, and Magma Jet especially since you can just run Hero's Downfall to replace Dreadbore.
