I support the article and I hate the FNM environment, hate MTG players, hate neckbeards, hate smelly gamers, support Gaby Spanks, consider myself normal and not a terrible person or a disgusting socially retarded sexist nerd.
That said, generally, I enjoy gaming more with females than with males and part of that reason is solely because they are female. So I really can't say I'm totally innocent. I'm not a creep but if you give me fat fedora Phil or random female gamer, I'm running for the latter. The same goes for online gaming, where I'd rather be on mic with a female than a mouth-breathing man child. So maybe I'm terrible or maybe I'm just an honest guy? I don't know. FWIW, some of my best friends are females met through gaming, because I'm not the guy in the article.

Much obliged. Thank you.my current 75: http://decks.deckedbuilder.com/d/58102That is certainly an option. Got a link to a good starting list?BR Dragons. There has got to be a viable R/B list that we can brew. There's too many good creatures floating around in those colors.

I just had to find the comment this idiot was responding to, and boy it did not disappoint.Alex Hinkley · Top Commenter · Junior Writer at Fantasy Team Advice
Vince Metzler Sounds like that is a problem with them, Vince. Maybe those women should stop being so fucking judgmental about people eh? If they don't like the community in a certain hobby, the answer isn't for them to inject themselves and change that community. The answer is maybe that community isn't for them and they should find one more to their liking.
Ben Patzwald: There are women who would gladly play if the amount of creepers and gross people were lowered. Also, the whole "maybe women are just not interested in x" is a point refuted a thousand times whenever this conversation happens in gaming circles.
So wanting fewer creeps and hygienically nasty dudes is somehow being judgmental?

This is a real question I raised yesterday to my roommate and her friend.random aside, I had a leopard gecko named Frieda when I was a kid
Did your lizard have a weird smell?
I distinctly remember pet reptiles having a weird, reptile-specific smell, but then my roommate and her friend countered that they thought I happened to run with smelly reptiles.
This full circle dialog is truly a miracle.

There's a modern player at my LGS that you can smell a mile away and seems to have this condition where me makes bomb exploding noises every so often. He use to have long greasy hair he wore with a fedora until he thankfully cut it.
Then there's another guy who's a shy Asian kid that's probably the record holder for the most sexually revealing anime girls to fit onto a playmat. They're also on his sleeves, deck box, and tokens. I still have the image of goblin anime girl tokens I can't unsee.

I'm still dumbfounded that wizards gave the guy appearing in the pics like a two year suspension. Talk about shooting the messenger.anyone who thinks Gaby's comment about hygiene wasn't justifiable needs to go back and laugh at Crackgate some more
And what about barring entrance to GP's to any guy not dressing appropriately and having body odor? Those things do invade my personal space and detract from my enjoyment at the venues.

At least they're.... harmless I guess.
I've encountered the loli pervert anime fan at my own LGS.
The last time I was in Japan I was at this huge electronic store in Akihabara, the nerd capital of the world. They had an entire section around the size of the gaming section of Best Buy dedicated to loli figures. They were mostly empty until you came across the 18+ figures aisle, where there were half a dozen men just standing there.... staring. Most of them were looking at the ones the store were pre-ordering, which creepily enough, was too many. That night I proceeded to eat Mexican food, shop for Pikachu condoms, and almost get in a fist fight with a Nigerian immigrant.
That my friends, was the most magical Christmas day I've ever had.
