Also, random aside, can we abstain from the decklist development in this thread and instead use the appropriate forums? No offense to anybody, but those forums really need some content/traffic, and a lot of it is buried underneath literally hundreds of pages in this thread. If you don't want your list public we can use the appropriate hidden clan thread, but for the sake of the growth of the site I'd appreciate it if you guys would...you know, adhere.

As to this point of buried decklists, I'm currently looking into a means of organizing all of the decklist concepts that tend to come up as a part of routine discussion in this and other threads. The big question, however, is how much of our brewing we want in the main public Standard forum and how much we want to have under veil. I mean, it's not like we're developing super-secret formulae or anything, but at the same time I know it irked me last year when ahead-of-the-curve concepts went elsewhere without so much as credit to the creator (e.g., Travis Woo passing off zeman's brew as his own concept).
I guess before I go any deeper into committing any time, I should ask the question...do we want our main brewing in the restricted area (the FoS only one where the brewery thread currently resides, not the upper FoS one) with current deck discussion out in the Standard area, or are we just going to
move deck-related and brewing discussion out there? I really do want to do something that provides a means of keeping all these deck ideas sorted and findable 2 days later, but I don't want to get something up and rolling only to scrap it.
Clan discussion?

My father is better.
From the first analysis, it seems like he developed a benign tumor in various places of his digestive tract and he should undergo surgical treatment over the week, in the meanwhile he's getting other exams and things.
It really does seem like that things are not really bad, except for the bloodloss.
And, well, the fact that I will have to be colonscopized before the end of the year because it may there may be something genetic going on.
Thanks for the support guys.

This is what I'm thinking of doing with these spontaneous discussions (this is a link over to the actual example post I made in the cleanup thread Yarpus started earlier today). Obviously, if people were to specifically go to the appropriate forum to post their Boros/Gruul/Sledgehammer concept it will be the least work and best organization for everyone, but if you even consider how crazy the Dos Rakis thread over on Sally got, you can see how easy it is to lose ideas.
I'm volunteering to take on "modding" a restricted brewing area if y'all think this would be useful/appropriate. I mean, I don't want to play den mother and go sweeping stuff up everywhere and boxing it, but if we're interested in truly running a clan-restricted brewery, I'd be happy to organize it. If we continue to grow
and proliferate information, someone else can jump in and help out.
My thought is that this could then feed into the public content. When a concept becomes a viable deck with public interest (again, like Dos Rakis), the discussion that led to its development could then be moved over to a new Standard area thread (along with the authoring of a new primer as appropriate).
We're at the beginning of a block...I know that decks that will be meta-defining will undoubtedly come to life here, and I would like to see them be carried from idea to working model.
Yay or nay? Is it worth a try, or no?

This is what I was thinking. Until the meta stabilizes, we should keep most of the brewing under wraps. I know I wasn't here when it happened, but we don't want "legit" deckbuilders taking builds and making an article on them.I think the brewing should be in the restricted area until the meta is somewhat stable/known. Then further discussions/modifications on those decks can be done in the Standard area, and new brewing against that meta can continue in the restricted area.

Okay, everyone, the council has convened and decided in its infinite wisdom that Yarpus and warwizard87 are Tier 2 material. I'm pretty sure they were there anyway, but just got dropped when they were MIA for so long. Anywho, y'all are back where you belong.
In addition, all Tier 3+ members should hold onto your butts because our own Clan Super Gay Alex now has access to our most private areas.
Congrats!

Yarpus drops knowledge on them, they drop Chandra for Assemble the Legion. WTF.
@Red: Glad to hear your father is doing ok. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!
I second brewing being in the restricted area. We could....use the brewing thread?
