i guided my friend through duels of the planeswalkers 2013 last night against 3 other AIs playing planechase. he'd never played magic prior to downloading dotp for free, so i was teaching him about how to play well, etc, why cards like glowmoth are completely irrelevant and why an opponent being at 80 life didn't matter at all. the latter was good because there was a point in the game where one of the opponents had like 86 life and we were at 2 and then 1 for pretty much half of the game. to be honest, though, we only won because one of the other two opponents needlessly triggered the oblivion stone effect of one of the planes (it was elesh norn's whatever bullshit in case you want to play along at home) when we were far and away dead on board.
we also missed at one point that the rules text on one of the planes was "draw a card every time you roll the planar die" while freaking out that the computer players had
gone from 0 to 4 cards in hand, but also planechase is bullshit and why would i know that.

I would watch if it isn't painfully unfunny / boring / neckbeardish / terrible.I should make some videos or stream, would any of you watch a complete mtg random? do people do that?
I somewhat consistently top 16/32 900 person PTQ's on mtgo without ever top 8ing, have a meaningless 1850ish Limited rating and probably am really obnoxious to listen to

But what if you equip Goldenglow Moth with a Slagwurm armor? Powerful!i guided my friend through duels of the planeswalkers 2013 last night against 3 other AIs playing planechase. he'd never played magic prior to downloading dotp for free, so i was teaching him about how to play well, etc, why cards like glowmoth are completely irrelevant and why an opponent being at 80 life didn't matter at all. the latter was good because there was a point in the game where one of the opponents had like 86 life and we were at 2 and then 1 for pretty much half of the game. to be honest, though, we only won because one of the other two opponents needlessly triggered the oblivion stone effect of one of the planes (it was elesh norn's whatever bullshit in case you want to play along at home) when we were far and away dead on board.

the card was not available in dotp so it was not a concern. But what if you equip Goldenglow Moth with a Slagwurm armor? what about some sort of deck test videos where I take a deck in the Standard meta and then play like 10 matches with it in the 1 vs 1 for a pack thing, just so people who want to see if a deck is good / worth buying cards for / is fun can watch me test it and summarize so they don't have to. it could be done with essentially every tier 1/2 deck in any given meta/season, and also take requests for people's home brews and run them through the circuit
Standard hobos who play budget garbage should be looked upon with suspicion.

6 monstrous creatures at C/U... Good enough to build a deck around, not good enough to grab all the hart's you can going in blind. It'll be a good card because of bestow too, but don't count on the monstrous creatures to back you up. They're too aggressively costed to not be high picks for any deck.is burnished hart actually insane in TTT limited a question that will haunt me to my dying day or at least the first week TTT is live because i think getting one or more monstrous creatures active is almost unbeatable
