yes that is the creature and while i don't know if it is actually good like is going to become a reasonable card in constructed, having a creature that dodges mizzium mortars, deals 4 damage to an attacking creature, and deals surprise 4 damage to an opponent, or pumps a creature you control (at instant speed) and still leaves you with a creature if the creature you're pumping dies are a lot of modes for just one card.

it also works with domri and is a flash pump spell in addition to being a creature, similar to ghor clan rampager and there's no way you can tell me that card is bad because it's pretty insane.

it also interacts well with other cards you are playing in green decks that just vary depending on the colors you combine with it.

it evolves experiment one, it pairs well in either mode with ghor clan rampager (and as an enchantment with other trample creatures), it draws you a card when revealed with domri, it voltrons onto a monstrous watchwolf, it plays well against bounce in either mode.

its downside is largely that it dies to a single magma jet or a block from a burning tree emissary, which are two really stupid things to be able to die to in standard.

i actively dislike firedrinker satyr but $1.25 for a card that is almost certainly an auto-include in mono-red or Rg when stromkirk noble had a similar distinction and was never lower than $3 for 90% of its time in standard is a scoreboard count that doesn't lie

magma jet is the actual best it's just that if you cost more mana than it and die to a single magma jet then that's a really big check in your negative category

It went up already? I bought mine at $0.30 each.

I'm still on the fence on how great it will be. It's no Stromkirk Noble and it blows when it gets hit by a Mortars. But still, being able to attack into the hexproof plant is pretty solid.

like I don't see why you can't just splash black and play Deathrite Shaman which doesn't have to attack and lets all your burn spells have a flashback of B to do 2 damage

don't give a fuck about your aggro shell, you don't lose a fifth of your life if someone mortars your Deathrite Shaman. Shaman gives you mad graveyard gas and lets you play sphinx's revelation trumping Ebros
