Playing a terrible deck just to insult people who lose to it is some next-level trolling.
I just finished reading Patrick Chapin's Next Level Magic, which has inspired me to up my game in everything. Obviously this means that my trolling game is being upped. This has made my casual decks substantially worse as my play has gotten better, seems like it should balance out.

My other troll deck. Ice age block constructed ftw.
[Deck]
creatures
4 boreal druid
3 martyr of spores
2 boreal centaur
4 bull aurochs
4 aurochs
3 rimehorn aurochs
4 aurochs herd
1 frostweb spider
2 woolly mammoths

Spells
1 mishra's bauble
2 giant growth
2 resize
2 hibernation's end
2 nature's lore
2 mystic melting

Lands
21 snow-covered forest

You do need to try to gay it up a little more.

You're like the least gay member of this clan.

And that's counting the fact that you voluntarily have sex with men.

I'm a sucker for Mountains :)

When I played IRL this was my fave http://gatherer.wizards.com/Handlers/Im ... seid=20895 - I had my Ext deck foiled out with accompanying shiny Ports and Wastelands :)

I'm currently hard pushed to choose between these http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/ ... eid=175018 and http://gatherer.wizards.com/Handlers/Im ... eid=175017

What art did
you choose MDU?

I maintain however that browbeat was better than anyone ever gave it credit for, you just had to accept that you were never going to get what you wanted.
I have a soft spot for Browbeat, but that's because the one time I used it was in a very scrub meta. It was when the card first came out in Judgement and the LGS started hosting Saturday afternoon Standard tournaments. The first one was happening on the weekend of Dragon Con (or something like that) and since I knew that none of the regulars would be there and it would likely be just a bunch of noobs, I played Browbeat as a 4-of and everyone else at the tournament was so scared of taking damage that it was always 2R: Draw 3 Cards.

So even though I know
it's not that great, my one experience with the card is that it's broken as hell.

Plus you can play board games at night. I recommend this game: http://www.amazon.com/Betrayal-At-House ... B003HC9734 ... Especially if drugs are involved. Plus its made by Wizards!

I decided not to go, just gonna chill and boardgame with friends. Theres another IQ in Dalton GA later this month I believe, so I might go to that one.

I think my favorite set, as far as basic lands go, is kamigawa. Wow that sounds weird, hearing favorite and kamigawa in the same sentence.

Not entirely fair now that I think about it, kamigawa limited was a ton of fun, it was just poopy in constructed (other than 2 ninjas, 2-4 dragons, kitaki, and jitte).
YES! The islands from that set look really neat as well. I also love all of the Kamigawa arena promo lands.

I have a soft spot for John Avon's Mirage Mountains, especially this one: http://magiccards.info/mr/en/304.html

Has it been printed with new frames and black borders, except as a foil in 8th and 9th edition?
John Avon is a magnificent man. Definitely my favorite Mountain artist. The Zendikar 244 mountains are cool and original, but Avon's art is classic. His work for the Arena sets is sweet.

Zen full art mountain 244 forever baby
+1

Running some RTR and Shards Mountains since I don't have enough Zen 244s for PyroWhite (I think I only need two more <_<) and they'll do for now. I love the Shards basics. Especially this Forest.

Although I got a foil one of these in a pack recently and it looks freakin' sweet, might just switch over to those if I can grab some more.
If you don't know how to lie, then how do you know if you're being lied to?

The answer? Use a gun. And if that don't work... use more gun.

I don't think you can go wrong with any mountain, but I stick to the Zendikar one that Ham likes.

The "these aren't actually mountains bro" from RTR always bothered me, but they seemed to fit in Nuwen's rakdos deck so we shoved all the foils in there

I'm looking for 35 Onslaught mountains to replace the Snow-Covered ones in my Krenko EDH, but the shop I frequent doesn't sell basic lands (except for Snow-Covered lands, which are a steal at $0.25 each).

For Standard decks, I use the Mountains from the Fire & Lightning premium deck. My favorite is Avon's Mirrodin mountain (because of how fucking shiny it is), but Briclot's Jund mountains also look pretty cool.

I really have to just go out and buy a bunch of cool basic lands, and, while I'm willing to pay $1-$1.50 for a Zendikar basic, SCG is the only site that sells them that I know of and I just don't want to pay so much to have them shipped after I've been so spoiled with TCGPlayer's low shipping costs for so long.

I got all of my Zen lands by sniping eBay auctions. They work out to around 75 cents a pop if you can find the guys selling 20x at a time.

I have a lot of basic lands from some of the early sets. I should go through them and collect all the lands I have, especially the Mountains.

@Kaze — Maybe not, but the art on that is sweet, especially for a Rakdos-themed deck. Does anyone else do that? Use basic lands that fit the theme of the deck. My Dos Rakis list used those red/black RTR lands, and the basic swamps had tinges of red in them.
