Makes it sound like you took a personal day for the express purpose of EDH brewing.

Didn't you quit your job once to brew EDH and play Mafia?

Nah. I quit my job because I'm lazy, entitled, and have no bills aside from cell phone/car insurance. The EDH brews and mafia were just a side-effect.

NBW does amazing work. But since everyone is sporting a fancy custom new sig from him, I'm gonna rebel and keep what I have now.

Yeah, but figured t'was worth a try. I come up here once a month or so to visit my girlfriend. It'd be awesome to hang with a redbro while I was here, but I guess I'll just have to wait till the open in Atlanta :P

Tell your girlfriend to move out of the sticks and into Charlotte, Raleigh, Winston-Salem, or Chapel Hill.

PS: I live in Charlotte. Fate and Nuwen live up near Raleigh.

The best cards in this set are boring, black removal.

The two strongest cards are Brimaz and Xenagos, and it is a very real possibility that the meta barely incorporates them. That's not what you want out of your most powerful spells. I'm hoping they see as much top tier play as their text dictates they should, but we will see.

I hope that everyone tries to jam Brimaz, gets mad because of MBC and sells them to me for cheap. If Wild Nacatl gets unbanned in Modern, Naya Zoo here I come.

Naya Zoo would be an awful deck now, even with Nacatl.

The thing is, the metagame is as follows:
- Jund, awful matchup for Zoo
- Pod decks, awful matchup for Zoo
- Combo decks, awful matchup for Zoo

Zoo primarily beats up on control decks and inferior creature decks, which are all fringe tier 2 currently. I do expect Nacatl to be unbanned though.

I won't be crushing any MOCS with Zoo, I just like attacking with dudes and white is my favorite splash color for the sideboard.

Are there lots of Lightning Bolt and Tarmogoyf? Yes? The Zoo isn't well positioned.

The whole format is Lightning Bolt, and they can only run 4, why be scared of it?

Naya Zoo has its own goyfs, and Bromaz King of Broreskos survives a bolt.

And running Path to Exile is good value.
