My girl is gluten intolerant which makes the whole thing really easy on both of us.

I'm a consistent cook, she's more of the adventurous type, finding new recipes for us while I stick to my tried and true crowd pleasers.

Yeah you get pretty good at planning your meals for the week, since eating healthy does take additional prep. time. But yeah, overall, its a MUCH cheaper way of life. I have friends who will spend $100AUD a night on drinks; even if I spend an extra $50 a week on food (I eat an absolutely fuckton) I am still easily coming out ahead.

@ ham. Yeah, I tend to cook the same stuff that I like over and over again (lots of meat/veg combos or stir fry) but I do mix it up when cooking for others. Not everyone likes green curry three times a week

High five, Khaos. I rant and rave to everyone about eating paleo, but it's clear to me that motivated self-starters are quite rare and even the very unhealthy people in my family are resistant to even the idea of change.
I'm not sure I'm up to the paleo thing, but my diet has gotten a lot better. Like I said in the Personal Shit thread, I think one of my biggest flaws is that I sometimes let myself get so low that finding my way out of the hole becomes "my purpose," which makes life more interesting. That, and the end of 2013 was kind of a wake-up call for me with my then-lifestyle. If I kept doing what I was doing last year, I'd probably die. And I don't want that.

The best part about all this is some of the things I've been
hearing from people in the last week, like," You look healthier," "Are you losing weight?", and "You seem more alive." I've also been getting some more attention from the chicks at work, so that's a plus I suppose. All of this is more motivation to keep it up, and a sign that I'm doing something right.

I'm starting to ease into paleo. My doctor recommended I cut back on bread and this diet looked pretty solid.

I've pretty much been keeping the chicken and veggies thing consistent. I actually found a method I like
so the prep time is minimal. I could probably do it in my sleep. My breakfast, on the other hand, is pretty much the same thing everyday and I'm worried I'll get bored from it: 1 packet of Oatmeal and a yogurt with a glass of V8 and some water. From there, I pop some vitamins, down a 5 Hour energy, and do about 20-40 pushups with my feet anchored on my bed. After all of that, I feel like I'm ready to conquer the world. Or at least call a bunch of strangers slack-jawed faggots and then mean-mug them.

I'm not sure if I want to adopt a "diet." Just a healthier way of living so that if I stop the "diet" I don't go back to the way things were.

@Kait - call me fat. I don't care. Actually it's more motivation to drop the extra pounds. But fat or skinny, I'm still a sexy motherfucker. And fucking funny too, which makes me more appealing while I'm in my "Fat Elvis" stage.

Nah, you see, every gimmick represents an aspect of him he's repressed.

You represent his desire to piss on car door handles, James is his desire to wear fox ears, ham is the manafestation of his early childhood dream of being the world's first cat mathematician, et cetera.

And the only way for Madding to truly feel whole again is to make people quit the forum
one at a time. As they leave, they fuse back into the original Madding's psyche one at a time until the forum is empty and he's a real boy again.

So, you see, Madding was like industry. In that, they were both lost in the woods. And nobody, especially the little boy - "Kaitscralt" - knew where to find 'em. Except that the FoS was all a gimmick. But the industry, my friends, that was a revolution.
