I don't think it's fair to compare CFB to SCG all time since CFB was the only super team for like 2/3 years and most of the star city guys where on that team including Owen and Martell.

Granted it's ALL team CFB now

Well, considering what both Kai and Finkel have said in the past, it sounds pretty close. And from everything I've heard, Finkel was more talented, he just quit early.

RE Pro tour: ME TOO. I have 3 PTQs and that's it this season since I doubt I'm going to anymore GPs this season. I did find out that one of the stores in the LA area is offering travel expense to the winners of it's GPTs from now on though which is sweet.

Don't make me dig up the Sartre quote. All that matters is what you've done, never what you could have done. There's no shame whatsoever in being no. 2 all time, that's an incredible accomplishment.

I never was arguing accomplishments(or arguing period really). I'm just stating that the difference in skill between the two is marginal at best and from everything I've heard, finkel was the better player. Kai even said he had to be incredibly lucky to just win 7 pro tours. that's something like 21-0 in top 8 matches which is unreasonable by any metric.

This reminds me of when people try to say Fisher was the greatest chess player ever because he was so talented. There's winning and losing, beyond that there's nothing.

While Basketball is a team sport and the metrics don't translate as well, that's like saying Michael Jordan was better then Bill Russell.

With all the new players providing content I doubt there will be substantial demand for me to produce video content as well. Schedule is pretty packed as is and I'm lucky that ill be sticking around.

I got hired after someone linked my work to Josh Silvestri, following his write up of my PyroRed deck at gatheringmagic.com; josh asked me to write up a brief article on the deck for him to use as notes for his weekly column; they liked it so much it became a full article. My views are 40% higher than their average, so they've kept me around.

I've watched so much random anime that I don't even remember most of it. The ones that I do are therefore probably the best.
  • Trigun
  • Cowboy Bebop
  • Fullmetal Alchemist
  • Samurai Champloo
Going through the list at Funimation, some that I think I watched but don't really remember at all:
  • Aquarion
  • Black Blood Brothers
  • Claymore
  • Dance in the Vampire
    Bund (what?)
  • Darker Than Black
  • Devil May Cry (huge fan of the game, probably watched this)
  • Eureka Seven
  • FLCL
  • Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom (this one I actually do remember, it was good)
  • Speed Grapher
  • Trinity Blood
I've come to find out that there's four things that almost always means an anime will be absolutely horrible

1. It's set in a school.
2. The protagonists are children.
3. The protagonist is clearly a Mary Sue.
4. The title is random garbage and/or couldn't be bothered to have an English translation

It's pretty easy to use these rules to spot garbage. To demonstrate, I will bold exactly where in the following synopses that you should first be able to tell that this series blows. There is no point in reading past the bold parts because you have all
of the information about how much the series sucks already.

Fairy Tale
"When four young wizards team up to take jobs across the kingdom, they forge a bond more powerful than any magic and grow stronger with every mission."

Heaven's Lost Property
"Girl-crazy Tomoki's quiet life gets turned upside down when beautiful, winged Ikaros falls from the sky -- and starts calling him master."

Soul Eater
"Maka and the other students at the Death Weapon Meister Academy must kill 99 evil humans and one witch, absorbing their spirits when they die."

Okami-san and Her Seven Companions
"Ryoko and her friends form Otogi Bank, a social club that specializes in resolving issues for classmates using some rather aggressive tactics."

Rosario + Vampire[/u:
16wjru7n]
"When Tsukune accidentally enrolls in a school for monsters disguised as humans, he must hide the fact that he's really human or risk losing his life."

My Bride is a Mermaid
"After a cute mermaid saves him from drowning, a young man agrees to marry his rescuer to avoid the wrath of her father."

Chrome Shelled Regios
"A talented but mysterious young fighter named Layfon uses his skills to battle the Contaminoids, an alien race that now rules the planet."

B Gata H Kei - Yamada's First Time
"Yamada is the cutest girl in school, and she wants to have her way with 100 different boys. There's just one problem: She's never even been kissed! Dear god, why are you still reading this?!&
quot;

Use this power wisely.

Soul Eater is actually good.

Soul Eater was good until Kurona, then the quality of it all started dropping.

In general, I'm indifferent to so and so receiving credit or taking credit for something since in the age of the internet, it's not very important.

In my year or so with the clan, my stance is mostly the same with the amendment that credits not important so long as TWoo doesn't get any.

It was pretty shitty times for us. That was before the clan was really formed as a solid entity; in many ways it was one of the first things that brought the early members together: yarpus, LP, redthirst, ham and a few others, including some who have moved on to other things all put huge work into that deck and primer and to have it brazenly taken and credit withheld was quite shit.

But, look what happened after all of that. We have a kick ass Clan (that's more of a brotherhood, really), we've moved on to a better site, and now Z has an outlet to move some knowledge to the masses. Things worked out pretty good.
