Hmm...I think playing Magic might be better then playing BTE now. Like BTE is good at doing what it does, but it's bad at playing magic which I feel is necessary in modern.
You gotta understand, I love the beatdown. I really do. I always have.

Beatdown is hard, though.

Tribal Flames is worth consideration as the other burn spell.

So, came home from work to find my $80 of Bitterblossoms turned into $400 of Bitterblossoms. That's a pretty nice surprise.

So, we had bedbugs in our living room couches. They're old, but we attempted to salvage them. It'd have costed 1200USD to exterminate the couches, though, so the attempt to salvage turned into throwing away.

Of course, we couldn't fit them through the door after years of sitting on them spreading them out, so we took them apart with a saw. Fun day. :3

I haven't been on Facebook in months, by the way, so the influx of friend requests may go unanswered for a while - though apparently my phone still likes to alert me of these things.

With DRS gone, I think I will go back to playing RUG Command in Modern. That deck seems amazing well positioned actually.

YOU TOO??!!!!!

I was literally walking home thinking about aether vial, witness, bolt and goyf.

What are the big winners of the format?

Obviously zoo, after that, I think it's Cryptic command, and the Gy, maybe birthing pod.
You gotta understand, I love the beatdown. I really do. I always have.

Beatdown is hard, though.

RUG Command does bad things to Zoo, UWx Control. From memory the pod matchup is OK and Jund was unfavourable because of Deathrite/Ooze. Without Deathrite, the Jund style decks should be much easier; but it is
totally unclear how well the deck plays against Bitterblossom.

Creature decks promise to be everywhere, I'm going to play some kind of Sword/Blossom deck with all removal. Probably close to the UB fae list but without any of the faeries.

i actually like the darkers colours, but it feels like it is rushed and unpolished. I always hated the old banner too. This update will pribably piss people off. Recruiting efforts must be doubled.

My eyes hate the new MTGS website. It sucks. I am having a hard time seperating the posts from each other. Did the same idiots who made the healthcare.gov website do the MTGS website? Maybe this is a good thing for us as we may get more traffic here. Then again..do we want the worthless meat sacks coming over here?
