Just when I finally had the schedule down

Well I guess now I don't need to rush to get a Modern deck

I have the same views, I want my 150+ THS boosters to sell for at least 500-600 - if they delay it long enough the third part of the set will get released and they should hit 3.5-3.8 each

Also i'm on 24 Rupees now beating Rw Burn (it was funny) BW Control (also funny snap concedes) and Esper Control

Hitting 9 rupees in two days feels good, once I get more free again during the weekends I'll try and farm up the rest.

I'm looking at your list now, it seem like its much better then mine when its comes to transitioning into plan B (just try and beat them down).

I'm MD'ing Sweeper and Devour Flesh hate with Voices and Boros Charm while you're running Fleecemane Lion and Boon Satyr for aggressively costed creatures. I'll def. try 2x Smiter out it seems much more realistic then powering out Hydra (or should they just be Lions in my case since I'm running none?).

So, you are correct that I built my list to be better suited to beat down with creatures and less reliant on enchantments. I did this for two reasons:

1. I was planning for a PTQ where I expected to face a lot of devours, and felt that a higher threat density in general was good vs an open field.

And

2. I don't own any voice of resurgence or ajani and I already
had paid $220+gas+parking+entry fee and didn't want to drop another $150 to run voices and ajani.

In the end I borrowed 1 voice from a friend and cut another madcap skills (slightly less explosive starts but also less 2 or 3 for 1s). Overall, I liked voice most of the time I drew it. I think having the lion is good just because it's a little bigger (dodges last breath and gets in for an extra point), and it has more game off the top (can be made monstrous), but having 3 or 4 voice is probably correct.

I have not tested with ajani. You say it's good, and it's in every naya list I see so it's probably good. I felt that having 2 more creatures was better to get through the hate, but I didn't have the time or resources to test that theory enough.

I like the boom satyrs in concept, and in practice they have won me several games due to flash and the surprise factor (it's nice that he is also an enchantment), but I would probably cut them if I had voices.

I too love to play this deck. It is so
much fun and it makes opponents go "wow" relatively often.

At the PTQ, for example, I had 2 mulls to 5 when I won on turn 4

Still unrefined, too many 4 offs that means list still not good. Currently:

20 lands: 11 fetches, island, plains, forest, 1 of each shock land

Noticed problems:

Flood too much, basics arent good -> didnt want to loose from blood moon, I can get those 3 basics with fetchlands, however I dont want to get them. However even tribal zoo have access to those so i might be a must. Plus Path to exile have to give me value.
Flood so much as most of the time I dont need more than 3-4 lands. However 6 shocks + 3 basics + 11 fetches might go down t o6 shocks+3 basics + 9-10 fetches. (Especially with my 2nd problem)

No sorcery makes goyf worse. Need to get some amount of serum visions and gitaxian probes (also allows to play less lands as they
short out deck).

Snapcaster As a 2 of seems good. Dont want to draw too any of them, however making use of used spells seems too good to pass. Probably better than Clique.

Mutagenic growth was good every time I draw it, however might not wat to get more than 1 each game. Might get down to 1 since probably getting deck manipulation.

Wouldnt hate split of removal in md. Both Helix/Path/Bolt are good, however can see upside in stuff like electorlyze.

Love getting multiple high blowout oneoffs that destroys oponent. stuff like electrolyze, shadow of doubt are such a cards, that 1 is good but more most of the time isnt. Another upside in cycling themselves (Trickbind doesnt do so, however squelch does which might be a better card if we consider them)

Pod:

Put small creature on turn 1 or 2 and tempo them out while they take shitload of damage.

Twin:

Get threat on board before they can respond, on a play they only have bolt to kill delver/nacatl. With pressure on board they need to do sth first.

Affinity:

Access to good sb card for this matchup is a key. Stuff like Stony Silence / Ancient Grudge. Game 1 12 spor removal, some 1 mana counters might do a trick. Also every creature we control blocks quite well if needed.

While normal Zoo most of the time cant, with remand / spell pierce/ spell snare / mana leak it is possible. Get creature on turn 1-2 and then play counters and burns.

Yeah much
different. They play more creatures, and now want to get bigger, however they loose teribly to combo decks as they are turn to slow and they cant distrupt them. We might be turn slower but can interract with them.

Thats why I added 3 basic lands. Almost every deck scoops to blood moon if they dont fetch around it. When they know about it they dont.

I have been using the beta exclusively for about 6 months now and it had been fine up until the las few weeks when I've been having it freeze quite often, especially during drafts (this is the nutlow). When I encounter problems I switch back to the original client. One thing I hate is that the decks I build on the beta don't seem to transfer to the other client so I have to join events on the beta or rebuild my deck
