too big of a list, but I'd be glad to bring things up as they happened.tell me more about what scum don't do, pie.
so red's essentially claiming a watcher for the mail mechanic? eh, I actually don't know one way or the other if I buy the claim. leaning slightly towards believing it actually, but I don't want rez lynched today and I don't know if we can get another wagon up in time. also it's not really a PR but eh.
how do I look at a single users' posts on here?
@red: what's your role PM flavor?
If you don't know how to lie, then how do you know if you're being lied to?

Tunnel me more, pleaseClaiming: I'm a "town" mailer (actually, the word "town" isn't used anywhere in the PM, but I'm in the blue faction) with the ability of choosing another player and see who's sending him mail.
Besides, I thought that "OMGWraithSUX" was pretty much the standard here.
Why anyone would believe this pile of shit is beyond me. We have the best hard evidence and Red has played scum before. Thus he knows better as
compared to Jack (who might be scum protecting scum). Not moving my vote as he is still the best scum read.

Tell me more about my scum plays, I've played scum before! Point me out the similarities between the two games, come on!
You're not just saying that I'm scummier than Jack just because lightning is supposed to strike twice in the same point more often than not, are you?

Nice aggression here, drunkmobad.this shit is all in the fucking OPRed has a really good claim. He (correctly) explained that town is the blue faction, yet "town" is not explicitly stated in the label. He claimed a power role that is very believable in the context of this game. Sure, it's an easy one to make up, but the fact that we didn't get a counter claim for multiple days is evidence that he's probably telling the truth.
Let's play a game: we've got a mail system, and I've claimed watcher.
Nobody counterclaimed.
So, I guess:
- you think a game
with a mail system is very unlikely to feature a role like that;
- you think the real watcher is hiding;
- your Tourette kicked in before your brain could shift back to his normal state.
Be kind and explain me your thoughts about my role, thanks.

So: I'm town and everyone who thinks I'm not is not doing his homework properly.
I feel like imopen is town.
rezmo is taking approach which is of course good, more so in a game with lots of not-so-active players like this one; I think he's town but kudos to him if he's actually scum and trying to direct lynches.
For the same reason (trying to keep things going, rather than let the game freeze), I think Pie is safe as well.
Jack is null to me, and his reaction to my claim can either be genuine or a way to clear himself because he know I'm flipping mail watcher.
Wraith: There will be one day when I'll actually try to understand what's inside that head, but for now I'll keep my sanity.

holy diarrhea posts, rednihilist.
If you'd been this active all game I'd read these successive posts as town motivated. But you haven't been active, and now that the noose is almost around your neck you're getting really defensive. That's scum behavior, so my vote stays.

rcwraspy is town

suga leaning town, pure gut, dealwithit
wraith is a mystery wrapped in an enigma this game.
jack is also in the null region. though i want to say slightly scummy im just not sure here.
ham is in the null scum region, for every town post i read from him i read
something that makes me think he's not town
lmd scum leaning null. i need to reread, but seems scum
imopen scum leaning null. i need to reread him also, but i think he's scummy. though less scummy than lmd for sure
rednihilist: scum
-so ive been hung up on lmd, and i still think he's scummy but reds recent post spree has a lot to work with:
He doesnt quote my post right after that says "the first shit" i.e. the blue and whatnot.Nice aggression here, drunkmobad.this shit is all in the fucking OPRed has a really good claim. as far as the role it's not a real watcher as I read the claim, you just watch the mail so basically not a real watcher if this game has any pr's
way to name call though not a very good town mindset to just throw around neurological disorders as if they were insults.

I'll be honest: while ham is 100% the most valuable lynch on this day, I'd rather lynch scum rather than hang him for info.
I guess I'll vote Jack for his selective lurking then.

is it bad if I'm slightly leaning town on Red now but still want to vote him?
ISO him real quick - he interacts with Wraith early on, then asks Wraith about rez/ham. this shows a town mindset because Red himself is unsure of his reads on the two, so asking someone who may be a scumread of his (he suspects Wraith later I think? I can't tell what he's getting at when he talks to Wraith and voted LMD) of his opinion makes sense from a town perspective. shows he's trying to gather reads and whatnot
on the other hand that's about all I have and it's nothing completely solid. there's not much else to analyze. also, this is BAD logic, but I guess a mail-watcher isn't necessarily a confirmed town role? on the other hand, despite town not being in the sample PM, it's not enough to clear Red BUT I think scum would have a chance at missing that detail.
unvote for now. I'll revote if everyone
else refuses to move.
thing is we can also leave red alive, see if scum kill him, if not we analyze his results and we can lynch him if we still think he's scum tomorrow. this is probably a good plan.
SPEEDWAGON GO
even if I'm wrong on one read (don't think I'm wrong on two unless red + townread is scum), I can eliminate two players from this lynch pool... maybe.
imopen's been showing what I think is town frustration recently. not liking his post on this page "oh right sample PM duh" and
some other things at the start of the game bugged me.
Suga I don't like still. He had a bad vote on the hamwagon IIRC but I don't know why he would avoid the Red wagon here unless he was scum and 1-2 of his buddies were on the wagon?
LMD I don't even know.
rcw's been in the background, mentioned this for a while now. Really not liking his vote on Red here.
rcw's my preferred vote on the four but I don't know. Ran over him real quick in ISO and can't read him for shit.

looking at this, if I toss red into my townreads pile: LMD, rcw, imopen, Suga. I'm most sure of the townreads on Wraith and Jack (and me/CP obv), fairly certain on ham/rez but could be wrong possibly, and least sure on CM.still town - rez, ham, me, wraith, CM, Jack, C_P
others - red, LMD, rcw, imopen, Suga

in case Stardust misses it in that block of text.
also, rezzy, nothing of what you said really 'damns' red as scum.
- use of language w/r/t "watcher" is not indicative of scum, nor is name-calling
- red pointing out ham's claim reaction isn't scummy
- I do not get the point on the last quote. also I've done the "person votes me, I call them scum with someone else who is also voting me" thing as both alignments, so if that's your point it's null

I'm having trouble (lozl, as usual, since I'm shit at mafia) figuring out what to do. I don't really feel good about lynching Red. I weakly suspect that he is scum, but also keep going back to the thought that a mislynch today puts us down 2 players tomorrow. In a small game, that makes me nervous.
C_P's experience of Red as playing differently as town in a previous game helped me hold my vote on him last night. Today, Red seems annoyed with us but resigned to his fate. I behaved similarly earlier when I thought I was dead, and when I was the day 1 lynch in Ragnarok.
Has he been lynched as scum in any other completed games?

Red is just flailing to me. Just telling me I am crazy does not clear a scum tell of asking for claim with low votes. Now he responds with scum hunting? Little late in my opinion. Also, its not that hard to fast read the thread and post something for town. The claim of being busy seem BS to me now that he had a decent vote count. His brain dump on the key board seems pushed if or he is just selling it harder as scum do. Keeping my vote on him as the attitude and multiple brain dump posts do not sit well with me.
Rez's point on the town email example in the OP puts in a stronger town setting to me, but he could be bussing Red. It's a theory.
This is the most indecisive bunch of players I have ever seen. Jack and Suga are pretty much useless this game on reads for town. LMD is not voting Red for the scum tell of claim question way to early. I don't get town this game. Unless.......We have the scum team tied up on
a vote of their own? Red, Rez, Jack, and LMD created very odd interactions with votes and posts when each they got wagoned. Jack was slightly defended by Rez, and Jack has been nearly silent on any votes. LMD was targeted by Cursed_Pride and a bandwagon quickly grew with Red asking the scum question. Red is called or bussed by Rez. LMD stoops responding and is silent. (think Red and and LMD can't be together in a scum team. Problem is created with Rez. If he is scum; LMD or Red is town.) Red's odd claim with the OP and Watcher seems made up, but he could have ignored/forgot the OP example. The watcher claim role does not feel town, unless its a tracker of sorts? Back to the interactions....CM, LMD, and Jack have been very silent on Red's scum tell and diarrhea of the key board. (Multiple posts that could have been condensed into one if checked properly in full editor seems hastily made. Sniping at me is not helping town at all either.) The three players mentioned are not helping town by being silent
now. We need to get a true group consensus for a vote or move on. Inflatablepie has made some good points on Red for being town, but more opinions would be nice.
@Mod, what's the status on CM? Is he alright or you going to replace him? We need more reads BAD. No one is talking to him and posting is extremely low on correspondence with other players. It's not helping town at all with a deadline.
Well my time at the library is ending and am leaving for the day. Might not be able to post anything tomorrow as family are coming over. "Shit relatives!"
See you all definitely Thursday!

LMD and Imopen have their votes on you right now and others have expressed interest in voting you or looking more deeply at your posts. That sounds like a wagon to me.

imopen thinks im scum literally every game (except for boondocks, lol)
the fact that no one has actually cased me means there is no wagon. You're welcome to go ahead, it will help me get a solid read on you.
You post on dtr? Cool? Honestly, I don't know who posts there and who doesn't.
I actually read that site quite a bit but its mostly because a lot of the people I used to interact with on MTGS are over there.
It should be a privilege to post here
