Right after Basic Training I was barely strong enough to do 1 handed pushups, but I never went to the gym, I only did calistetics.

I did I have a friend who could do pushups where he'd push himself up of the grand and clap like 5 times in front of himself and behind his back. He was like, 5'5 and cut like a mothafucka cause before joining, he was a gymnast that did the shit with the rings.

Really, I just want to branch out from the whole "lift heavy things until I can lift heavier things" mentality when it comes to staying in shape. Trying body weight exercises and balancing seem like they'd have more applications in my daily life than just being able to curl 40 lbs 20-30 times, y'know?
