You realize you can stalk people on Facebook without anyone knowing (to my knowledge) on your main account?

Not the image we were going for in that video but I guess it works :D
I'm not sure I'm comfortable with the idea of Venser buttsecksing himself.

Unless your well practiced, sticking with a similar play-style is generally better (though "forcing" a style like playing Burn in Pauper or Modern where its not as effective isn't a good idea either.....).
I won my first pauper event

Burn is well positioned in a field of MBD.

Mafia's fun. Sucking can be fun too in the right circumstances. I mean, I wouldn't fault someone for wanting a popscicle over a game of mafia. They'd be wrong, but it's a free country.

Aggressive mining, life from the loam, seismic assault; brew.

It would probably need to be some sort of Primal Surge + Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx ramp deck with those durdly green enchantments that make extra mana.

I guess Garruk, Simian Spirit Guide and maybe even that Amulet of Vigor karoo land nonsense would help ramp into the combo before dying.

You'd want Aggressive Mining to have cards like Burnished Hart, Primeval Titan, etc. Prime Time in particular is pretty spicy here.

I don't know why you wouldn't just play an actually good deck? Especially since it can comfortably play Aggressive Mining?

Paul Rietzel randomly showed up to my FNM to draft tonight. Apparently it was the second non gp or pro tour tournament he's played in ten years which made him getting the first round bye very funny. He almost left after that but I was playing bad sligh in standard and had some beers with him after my ten minute match win and convinced him to hang around. Pretty cool guy and it was awesome being able to talk to him about Pro play related stuff.

Big takeaway was everyone sucks at magic which is why it's a great game.

Interesting (Looking at Green Devotion I am playing in modern :D, however probably better in Genesis Wave version of a deck)

I'm excited by some of the new cards in M15, particularly Altac Bloodseeker, Generator Servant, and Borderland Marauder. Those three seem particularly strong and interesting cards.

Went 5-2 at a sealed gpt to get practice for GP Sydney. Didn't open any bombs so ended up playing 4-colour control (base UG). My main route to victory was Coral Barrier / Satyr Wayfinder plus Military Intelligence. I had decent answers to threats and some card draw but lacked finishers, I needed another bad six or seven drop basically. I went 4-colour because I opened two Wayfinder, two Verdant Haven, a Caves of Koilos and an Evolving Wilds. It was a lot of fun.

Playing GB Devotion and Hornet Queen is my favorite card in standard. It won me my third Magma Spray promo from FNM. I don't regret getting off Naya Hexproof. :love2:

Also, Genesis Hydra is the nuts.

Care to say more for me somewhere? It is one candidate for wmcq for me. You can post here/pm. Overall thoughts, how it is vs field, what are you splashing for.
