Dem Onslaught fetches.
The best part is, I don't have to buy any!

I do. I was actually holding out buying them and my other two Arid Mesa for Legacy because I suspected a reprint of Onslaught fetches. Now I can just buy the reprinted red ones at reduced cost. Being able to run 12+ fetches for Lavaman food in Modern is going to be the tits.

Bloodstained Mire has, by far, the most metal name out of all the fetches. :jam:

fetches suck for standard

- awkward with scry

- courser is already too good

- makes games too long

but good for modern

They're bad with current scry, but good with courser.

Any plans for a write up Z? Would love to hear your thoughts about the deck changes. I too have made my way to 4 eidolon in the SB however I am on two glares.

Was 8 4 mana spells an issue for you? I find myself really liking stoke, and have cut down on the WLH.

Congrats on 3rd, certainly a respectable finish, if only prize payouts supported it.

The format changed and I reconsidered my position on a few cards. Overall, some of the changes were good, some were whatever. You have to make some radical concessions to beat UW Control.
you mean you were wrong about eidolon

Hey, would some of you FoS guys mind creating some rumor mill threads with the new cards. Our Rumor mill guys have been a dud, and it would boost discussion if we had timely threads about the new cards...

If people could repost on the rumor mill everytime they see a new card elsewhere, that would be much appreciated. Thanks guys!

Remember how that one guy said onslaught fetches where getting confirmed?

Also, Tough beats Zem.

For everyone else: when you finish 3rd place at an event like the WMCQ, congratulations are NOT what you want to hear for at least 2/3 days. Especially when the prize is product.

At least at the CFB event, there was cash given out(second place was 1200$).
You gotta understand, I love the beatdown. I really do. I always have.

Beatdown is hard, though.

Considering they are trying to push three color decks fetches seem appropriate for standard imo

I'm myself happily welcome our new fetchland overlords.

For those who like to spectate, once you've acquired all the staples you need, I'd hoard boxes of this set. Regardless of what happens to prices over the next year or so, fetches are still fetches. In 2018, your boxes are gonna be worth 300+ hundred dollars.

Also, cards I'm most interested in so far are the 1/2 for 1 that MAKES 1/1S AND GROWS for each 3 mana you spend, and the 2/1 that makes them discard when it comes into play.

I play agro, my standards are low.

Lots of info there.

The 2/1 that gives creatures with counters first strike looks good.

Opinions on Sarkan?
