just need to figure out the 2-drop spot.
Tymaret, the Murder King?
I plan to include him, at least in testing, but not as a 4-of. I view Tymaret as a 1 or 2 of that you land late game and gives you a little reach. I could be way off base on that, though, since "late game" you may not have much of a board presence due to wraths, combat deaths, and spot removal.

plus Im hoping to curve 10-8-6-4-4 or something like that. So even if Tymaret is a 4-of I still need another 4-of 2 drop.

Dont have a single Mana Confluence. Would you buy them for 15$ each?
Picked them up with FNM prize money at $8 when Khans was announced.
Sweet brag but would you buy them at $15?
If you plan to play multicolour, yes. If you
want to force mono colour, no. Or you could force mono at the beginning of the season and punish people who don't have their decks worked out to collect prize money and buy confluences.
This is genius.
Fuck you and the green you ramped in on. - My EDH battle cry. If I had one.

I don't know why so many people are freaking out about what to play post-rotation. Just play to your strengths.

I'm not freaking out. Honestly I'm excited there's so many possible decks I could play that cater to my Johnny and Spike sides at the same time.

If battlecruiser becomes a thing in the format, maybe an Abzan deck with Athreos/Abzan Ascendency and End Hostilities at the top of the curve. Wipe the board, you get a shit load of tokens or even get them back in hand.

Despise reprinted. No wonder why they left out Duress in M15. They didn't want three 1CMC discards in at one time.

Ash Cloud doesn't make sense if you haven't played Devotion red.

It adds incredible consistency to your board state ensuring that you live longer. There's no more boros reckoner or frostburn weird so having a creature with two lives is pretty sweet. It also trades with stormbreath dragon.

New list after some play testing:

[deck]
Creatures
4 Fleecemane Lion
4 Sylvan Caryatid
3 Courser of Kruphix
3 Brimaz, King of Oreskos
4 Siege Rhino
3 Wingmate Roc

Spells
2 Elspeth, Sun's Champion
4 Thoughtseize
2 Bile Blight
3 Hero's Downfall
3 Abzan Charm
1 Utter End

4 Windswept Heath
4 Sandsteppe Citadel
4 Temple of Malady
3 Llanowar Wastes
3 Caves of Koilos
1 Mana Confluence
2 Forest
3 Plains[/deck]

So far it's testing pretty well. The second version I'm trying out has Elvish Mystics in place of Fleecemane Lion, and Anafenza in place of Brimaz. But with 8 tap lands I think the first version fairs better.

rough deck idea that plays with some of these themes, but isn't "all in" on any.

[deck]
Creatures - 30
4 Bloodsoaked Hero
4 Tormented Hero
4 Chief of the Edge
4 War-Name Aspirant
4 Goblin Rabblemaster
4 Butcher of the Horde
4 Stormbreath Dragon
2 Ankle Shanker

Spells - 6
4 Stoke the Flames
2 Mardu Charm

Land - 24
24 mardu lands
[/deck]

That's the starting point. Want to fit: Murderous Cut, Hero's Downfall, potentially an Utter End, Lightning Strike, and Mardu Ascendancy. Obelisk of Urd could be cute too.

You do need to try to gay it up a little more.

You're like the least gay member of this clan.

And that's counting the fact that you voluntarily have sex with men.
