Meh, Jund was really good in legacy for quite a while, but I would not have called it the best deck (Shardless BUG was probably better as it had Jace/Visions, making it much more consistent while having a much better mana base), probably was in Modern, although I don't play that format as much

The deck that won was a deck you could play at roughly the same capacity over a year ago. The only difference is that you had ancient ziggurat instead of sliver hive as a land choice which I don't think affects you very much but also I have never considered playing a fair legacy deck that requires me to cast creatures that exist outside of delver, wild nactal, vendilion clique, or one of the best five 2-mana creatures to win.
And if I'm not playing those guys, I'm playing something that means I have to do a lot of math and not interact with another person.
