I painted like 10 minis for 40k then said fuck it and continued sleeving my cards.

40k scene here is full of weird shit nerds who scream a ton of stuff while playing and pretending that they are all genghis khan or something. More like genghis cunt. Harr harr.

I won't deny that it is a fun game though.

Also, was playing a ton of modern with my friends last night and out of boredom I broke out the full set of vanguard (the mtg one, not the weaboo rubbish) which I purchased from scg. We started playing with our modern decks using randomly flipped vanguards. Was pretty hilarious when you get +18 starting life against a burn deck, or -4 starting hand cards against a jund opponent.

I really hope Voice goes down in price because I feel like you have no business playing Standard GW if you don't have it.

And I realized I posted this in the wrong thread earlier.

Dat PM box.
That would require me to be near a computer, which I haven't been in over a week now. :P I've been in Vegas.

I can post on my phone but copy/paste isn't a luxury I have.

Painting/modeling was one of my favorite parts of the hobby, but it's real easy to get burned out on.

I think the last time I sat down and painted more than a single model in a 6-12 month period was when I assembled, converted, and painted to a high table-top standard 2,000 points of marines for a charity tournament in three weeks back in 2008.

:|

Took about 5 years to get back to where I actually want to model/paint again.

I used to paint minis as well, just for the fun of it. But it's a long time since, it's too time-consuming. I still have a lot of unpainted stuff, even a Wood Elves Battalion still on spruces. I've never played WFB or W40K, but we'll see if I pick up the hobby again when my son is older.

Where should I go to sell my collection of older Magic cards?

I need the money for expenses (car repairs, lawyer's fees, medical, etc). I'm under no illusions that I have an absolutely stellar collection, but I'd at least like a fair price for the several thousand cards I have.

Good luck to all representing FoS in Vegas. I'd join you guys if it weren't for the ~1800 miles and work tomorrow and such. Ah, well.

Set something on fire for me.

Throw it up on eBay with a decent BiN/OBO price.

I'm jelly, dudes. I was going to come with a bunch of guys from my LGS but they flaked on me. I didn't want to swing the whole drive + motel stay by myself, so no Vegas for me.

Curse of Ham Challenge: Enchant player.

At the beginning of enchanted player's seduction step, enchanted player discards his or her clothes and removes all resistance counters. At the end of the seduction step, enchanted player makes you a sandwich.

I heard that ham got redthirst's tip in his mouth today.

Accomplishment?
Redthirst's cock is so big that no human has ever put it in their mouth.
Redthirst equips Sword of Length and Girth.
I now know why redthirst's cock has a shrine.
What if you want redthirst's dick in your butt? Do you keep your butthole loose? Inquiring minds need to know!
If you say so.

Alright Gents, I have a quick question. I'm going to play this tonight:
[deck]Creatures (30)
4 Rakdos Cackler
4 Stromkirk Noble
3 Stonewright
4 Ash Zealot
4 Gore-House Chainwalker
3 Lightning Mauler
4 Pyreheart Wolf
4 Hellrider

Burn (8)
4 Pillar of Flame
4 Searing Spear

Land (22)
1 Hellion Crucible
21 Mountain

Sideboard
3 Bonfire of the Damned
4 Mizzium Mortars
2 Zealous Conscripts
2 Frostburn Weird
2 Hellion Crucible
2 Hound of Griselbrand[/deck]

This is banking on me getting the 3 Stromkirk Nobles I need to play it. If I can't acquire the 3 more I need, what one drop should I replace with? I was thinking of maybe trying a Foundry Street Denizen.

It's the ratio of penis:everything else that's giving you away. You need to pad it a bit for plausible deniability.

Legion Loyalist, I guess. Can't really replace Stromkirk Noble. He's arguably your best turn one play.

Legion Loyalist might have good synergy in your list, since you're going for a swarm strategy.

Edit: didn't see Stonewright, deleted last post.

To those of you who made it...have an awesome weekend and post some pics to give us some idea of the scope of this thing! Not to mention pics once you guys meet up--FoS represent!

Nope, not going to the GP. Buddy's wedding is next weekend. I think I might show up on Sunday for some side drafts though since I heard that was a thing.
