It's actually pretty unfair against Jund, where most of the decks' 1 for 1 removal no longer works. It folds hard to Pyroclasm postboard though, so maybe I shouldn't play it...Alex - I know next to nothing about Modern, but that deck looks too...fair (to paraphrase your comment about Wescoe's WW Standard deck). That being said, I love all the synergies in the deck.

We're in the same daily!
I'm having a little better luck though. Just ripped the third land off the top G3 to kick bushwhacker and a cackler (FORGIVE ME ALEX) for 16 damage T5.

My LGS is getting horrendously noncompetitive. They're doing drafts every Friday along with standard/modern, and many of the good players just choose to draft. I won the standard event with KDW after playing a guy in the last round with Cackler, Noble, BTE, Domri and Thragtusk maindeck, and Chandra's Phoenix sideboard. He also had 3 Mizzium Mortars and 1 FotF in the side (I looked at it after the games), which he neglected to put in while he was on the draw game 2 in place of his Cacklers!
Also, my first Standard FNM post-M14. Burning Earth IS as awesome as you guys say it is, and new KDW is almost as good as the December '12 version. It just feels so good to play a deck you know so well.

Other highlights include the guy that played Dega Midrange against me saying "I like to think of it as really a Jund deck, because it plays just like Jund" and "I really wish I'd have just built Jund instead."
Oh, and the one guy there that had been playing for over 10 years and seems to know the game better than anyone else decided to quit constructed magic (happened about a month ago), partly because control was no longer that good in standard, and he also says that none of the other formats are fun anymore either. This kind of disappoints me as well, since he was always a fair player who knew all of the rules, and I usually got paired against him at some point in most FNMs, and the games were typically the most enjoyable ones of the night.

Taking a break from playing some Modern with my buddies right now. Fucking Goblins are just steamrolling everything, lol.
Lolz of the night so far:
Dropping a Shared Animosity with 6 dudes on the table, one being Legion Loyalist.
Siding in Faerie Macabre to surprise buttsex the Assault Loam and Gifts decks.
Going absolutely bonkers with Spikeshot Elder.
Turn 4 23 damage to demoralize my Jund buddy.

In a pinch, Khaos' beard can help turn this around.
I rarely skip a Khaospawn wall of text because I know there is always piss at the end of the rainbow.
